American Fintech Council (AFC) Announces First Wave of Speakers for 9th Annual Fintech Policy Summit Including Acting Chairman Travis Hill of the FDIC

Summit brings together top policymakers, regulators, consumer advocates, innovative bankers and fintech leaders to shape the future of responsible innovation in financial services

Washington, D.C. (September 9, 2025) – The American Fintech Council (AFC), the premier industry association representing responsible fintech companies and innovative banks, has announced their first slate of speakers for its 9th Annual Fintech Policy Summit, taking place on November 18, 2025, at The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center. This year’s lineup features distinguished leaders from both industry and government, underscoring the Summit’s role as a unique platform for collaboration across the industry and public sector.

“For 9 years we have delivered an industry shaping policy summit that has a proven track record of collaboration and success where the future of financial services takes shape and pragmatic solutions are identified,” said Phil Goldfeder, CEO of the American Fintech Council. “We bring stakeholders together for thoughtful and collective dialogue on policies to drive responsible innovation, expand access, and strengthen consumer protections.”

Nearly 250 companies have already registered to attend. The 2025 AFC Policy Summit will feature some of the most influential voices shaping the future of financial technology. The initial speaker lineup includes notable members of Congress and regulators, as well as leading industry CEOs:
